Hide & Seek

TO PURCHASE

There are few places on Earth as magical as the kelp forests of Monterey Bay. Sunlight filters through towering ribbons of kelp while sea otters weave effortlessly among them, turning the underwater forest into their own playground.

At first glance Hide & Seek celebrates that playful spirit.  Two Monterey Bay sea otters dart through the kelp, chasing, exploring, and disappearing into nature's underwater maze.  It reminds us that joy is often found in the simplest moments.

Look a little closer, however, and another story begins to emerge.

The flowing kelp is sculpted as a graceful double helix - a universal symbol of life itself.  It represents the extraordinary web of life sustained by these underwater forests, where countless species depend on healthy kelp to survive.

Sea Otters are among the forest's greatest guardians.  By feeding on sea urchins that would otherwise consume the kelp, they help preserve one of the world's richest marine ecosystems.  Their playful lives have a profound purpose: protecting the habitat that supports so much life beneath the waves.

Hide & Seek is a celebration of wonder, stewardship, and the delicate balance of nature.  It reminds us that even the smallest acts can sustain something far greater than ourselves.
